Health Minister Mam Bunheng Receives French Ambassador

Phnom Penh: Minister of Health, Prof. Mam Bunheng, has received this Wednesday morning the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Cambodia, Mr. Jacques Pellet, for a courtesy call and discussion.

During the meeting Professor Mam Bunheng welcomed and congratulated the new Ambassador, who has been appointed by the Government of the French Republic to perform diplomatic missions in Cambodia.

The Minister of Health has also thanked the French government for its financial and human resources to support the Institute Pasteur du Cambodge, as well as the University of Health Sciences, Calmette Hospital and HIV / AIDS Centers.

In response to the meeting, the French Ambassador thanked the Minister Bunheng and all health officials for their excellent cooperation with their French counterparts.

 Jacques Pellet has also expressed his appreciation to the Royal Government of Cambodia under the wise leadership of Prime Minister of Cambodia, who led the control of the spread of Covid-19, finally reopening the country for tourism and businesses.
